THE OPPORTUNITY:

Snow Days is the very first incubated brand from HumanCo and we are looking for a self-starter and driven individual to join the team as the Director of Sales. This individual will lead the sales department work both independently and collaboratively to launch Snow Days into retail. Key responsibilities include developing our sales strategy, overseeing sales operations, ensuring we achieve our sales targets, and developing relationships with vendors and clients. You will completely own the sales function and work daily with the General Manager, Head of Operations, and Marketing Lead. This is a chance to create something special with an incredibly talented team of builders.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Responsible for sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting
  • Evolve our launch strategy to exceed our net revenue goals within channels/retailers having the best shopper/brand fit
  • Accountable for effective sales organization design, developing the in-house sales organization once the business achieves scale, managing the broker network, and driving decisions around sales channel optimization (i.e., trade promotion strategy, product mix recommendations, and pricing decisions)
  • Build and sustain current and new client relationships, working collaborative to better understand their business goals and needs
  • Identify and oversee launch plans for new product innovation
  • Build extremely strong ties with the marketing team to co-develop and execute best-in-class marketing tactics for an early-stage brand

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience in both conventional and natural channels
  • Extensive experience growing a brand and the corresponding sales function
  • Experience managing a national sales broker partner
  • Analytical problem solver with strong Excel skills and experience in planning, inventory management, and customer fulfillment
  • Outstanding negotiation and leadership capabilities
  • Strong collaborator and skilled at building long-term internal and external relationships
  • Experience working cross functionally with Operations, Marketing, and Finance to align on company goals and objectives
  • The ability roll up sleeves and help to build and create infrastructure.
  • Note: this role will require travel
