The Opportunity: 

HumanCo is looking for an exceptionally driven and motivated person to join our team as an Operations Leader. This individual will play a core role in our fast-paced startup culture - owning procurement, contract manufacturing, quality control, supply/demand planning, warehousing and logistics. Key responsibilities include building a strong foundation for scaling operations, managing critical relationships with partners, and executing new product launches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with all partners in our supply chain through strategic and collaborative communication
• Manage and fully own the day-to-day supply chain responsibilities needed to support our wholesale/retail and eCommerce channels
• Own all aspects of manufacturing, driving key metrics around cost, order fulfillment, and inventory control and leading COGS savings initiatives
• Lead production, quality assurance and accountability with co-manufacturers and suppliers, maintaining robust QA/QC systems and procedures
• Manage end-to-end transportation of all raw and finished goods, sourcing and negotiating all freight/warehousing contracts 
• Track current inventory and forecast future inventory needs; place purchase orders to support those needs
• Manage wholesale order fulfillment and support wholesale sales initiatives
• Develop and execute on a plan for our scaled supply chain and manufacturing network
• Maintaining product certifications (Organic, Gluten Free, Non-GMO, Kosher)
• Support new product innovation and execute new product launches, sourcing ingredients, packaging, and other inputs

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of operations experience, 3-5+ years of experience leading operations and supply chain for a growing CPG company (startup experience preferred) 
• Motivated self-manager who can deliver on high expectations with minimal oversight  
• Analytical problem solver with strong Excel skills and experience forecasting supply / demand, managing inventory, and supporting budgeting processes
• Strong collaborator and skilled at building long-term internal and external relationships
